Important disclaimer
Roblox Orthodox Journal is a fictional news publication created for the Orthodox Christian roleplay community on Roblox. It reports on in-game jurisdictions, hierarchs, parishes and events. It is not affiliated with any real Orthodox Church, diocese or hierarch, is not affiliated with the Union of Orthodox Journalists (UOJ), and is not endorsed by Roblox Corporation. Titles such as “bishop” or “metropolitan” used on this site refer to roleplay positions within Roblox communities. Articles marked “demonstration content” are samples and do not describe real events.
Our mission
The Roblox Orthodox Journal reports on the life of the Orthodox Christian roleplay community on Roblox: its jurisdictions, hierarchs, parishes, services and debates. We aim to inform members accurately, to document the community's history as it happens, and to provide a responsible forum for discussion of ecclesiastical questions within the community.

Journalistic standards
- Accuracy
- We report what we can verify. Statements attributed to hierarchs, clergy or chanceries are quoted from published texts or from our own interviews.
- Fairness
- Where a report concerns a dispute between jurisdictions or individuals, we seek a response from each side before publication.
- Clear labelling
- News, analysis, opinion, interviews and official statements are labelled as such. Opinion pieces carry the author's name and do not represent the Journal's editorial position.
- Corrections
- Errors are corrected promptly and transparently. Requests for correction can be sent through the contact form below.
- Respect
- We write about members of the community as people, not as characters. We do not publish personal information, harassment or speculation about members' lives outside Roblox.
- Independence
- The Journal is not the official organ of any jurisdiction. Official texts are published in the Statements section exactly as received and are marked as such.
